Oh goodness, I had all the photos for this November Ipsy Original Bag taken so early and then December got so busy that I completely forgot to test out the products until this month! I am off until next Thursday so my original plan was to play catch up as well as experiment with some new product, but then the clothing moths hit. I have been vacuuming like crazy, going through each and every piece of clothing I own to find out if any of my natural fibres have been compromised (my Dior cashmere scarf is currently in the freezer as I found two moths on it!) which has been overwhelming and tiring especially when I had planned to take some time off to relax! Next up, is now doing a massive load of laundry and putting things in the dryer to kill what I can with heat!

I found November's bag to be absolutely darling with how fuzzy it was! I also loved the little purple gem detail on the zipper and have actually been using this makeup bag in my everyday bag for my most reached for lip products!

DEAR MIDNIGHT | Dazzle Dual-Ended Eyeshadow Stick in Champagne Dream

I feel badly starting things off with something negative, but this eyeshadow stick formula is so light and too dry for my liking. There is no way in hell I can use this as an eyeshadow as it tugs and pulls on my eyelid and then once I get the colour out, I can't see it! I received a FULL SIZE of this product valued at $20.00 USD.

TARTE  | Creaseless Creamy Concealer in 35N

I chose this product as I am now at an age where dark circles REALLY make me look old and puffy. This formula boasts an ultra creamy texture with cloudberry to help nourish and illuminate the undereye area and is best applied by tapping with fingers which is my fave no fuss way of applying concealer. Like most concealers, a little goes such a long way so this deluxe size will last a good long time! This concealer behaves how I want without settling into my lines and last all day! I received a deluxe size (0.5g) of this product valued at $2.50 USD.

AVANT SKINCARE  | Blue Volcanic Stone Purifying & Antioxidizing Cleansing Gel

This seemed like an unimpressive product to me when I first saw it. This cleanser seemed like one of those weird samples you would get at the mall or hotel and granted that's what it kind of smells like, but in actual fact these foamy cleanser actually worked well for my normal/dry skin and did not leave it feeling stripped at all! I was expecting it to leave my skin squeaky clean, which has its time and place, but my skin actually felt super refreshed! I just wish this was either un-fragranced or just smelled like something else other than what a spa in the 90s would have smelled like. I received a deluxe size of this product valued at $5.00 USD.

NIP + FAB| Glycolic Fix Liquid Glow Tonic 2%

This is the only product I have yet to try as I only exfoliate with AHAs 2x/month now, but I am tempted to use this on my body and underarms to see if it improves the ingrown hair situation! This is a toner so it's nice that you do not have to rinse off and 2% is definitely gentle enough to use use everyday! I received a deluxe size of this product valued at $6.00 USD.

SOPHIA + MABELLE  | Hydra Hold Hydrating Setting Spray

I looove setting sprays and have amassed quite the collection over the years through purchasing on my own and when I was on the Urban Decay PR List. I STILL many bottles of the old formula and now that Skindinavia doesn't make it anymore, I will treasure the bottles I have (while still using them of course!). I opted for setting sprays in my Ipsy bag this month and was delighted to see that I received a full size one right away! This has kind of a beachy scent which I don't love, but it's fine and disappears within a few seconds. The only thing I don't like is that the nozzle - SHE STRONG! It's a very direct spray so keep the nozzle back a solid foot! It does do a decent job at keeping things in place though and with a slight dewy finish so because of that, I will keep using it! I received a FULL SIZE of this product valued at $24.00 USD.

Final verdict: The total value of this Ipsy Original Bag is $57.50 USD or $79.79 CDN so not as high of a value as previous bags and because the eyeshadow stick does not work for me at all, I have lost about $20 of value, but I found the most "value" in the sample Tarte concealer because I had been wanting to try it and at $45 CDN for the full size, I just wasn't ready to commit.
