I was watching a new Tati video last week and she featured these new Pixi Beauty fragrances and I was like "Did I hear you correctly? Pixi has FRAGRANCES??" Then a few days later, this perfect package of #PixiPerfume showed up completely unexpectedly at my door, I sniffed and then knew I had to share what my nose thought with all of you!
The packaging is a Pixi green metal tube that you twist up to reveal the nozzle which then allows you to press down and spray. It took some time for me to figure it out as I was trying to pull the "cap" off and to think that Tati sort of struggled with it too and I totally forgot about how she was finally realized it was twist!

The first scent up is PixiFig and I tried this last because I thought I wouldn't like it as the only fig scent I have smelled is Dioriviera which wasn't quite my style, but I was wrong! I actually quite enjoyed wearing this one with its notes of fig, iris and bergamot. It has a slight citrus which makes it feel fresh and the fig gives a bit of earthiness. I also like PixiFig layered with PixiRose!
The next scent is actually my favourite of the three! PixiRose was NOT a scent I was expecting to like because I generally don't like rose as a fragrance. I like rose as a fragrance in my skincare, but I feel like it's a scent that has never really suited me. PixiRose contains notes of rose, sweet lemon, lily and jasmine so maybe it's the sweet lemon that my nose is liking?

PixiMimosa was the first scent I tried because I thought I would be into mimosa. Maybe I was expecting it to be sweeter like the drink, but I was wrong. It's definitely more floral with notes of ylang ylang, green leaves, juicy pear, mimosa and violet petals and hawthorn and amber. It's nice, but not on me. When I smell it on me, I feel some slight body dysmorphia as if it is someone else. Since I liked PixiRose so much, I did try layering it with this and I did like the two scents together!

Final verdict: The fact that I was so quick in posting this just goes to show how excited I was to use the new fragrances. I did not see this coming from Pixi Beauty and I am so glad they did! The scents are totally Pixi vibes and I love that they made the packaging fit their branding. The only downside I would say is that the scent last about 2-3 hours on me before it gets super subtle. Maybe there will be a body lotion to layer with in the future?
You can find the new scents of PixiPerfume either as singles or a trio like this one on the Pixi website!
