 Purple and Gold Glitter Gradient

Some press samples

I just did a mass reorganization of just one small section of beauty goods and it honestly took a whole afternoon! I also have four different medium size bags of cosmetics that are being given to various work colleagues and friends. Thank goodness I know people of all different ages, skin tones and types because much of this would then go to waste!

Last week, I mentioned that this month's CBBxManiMonday theme is "Shimmer and Glitter" and that I would be going back in time with my nail polish choices as I have MANY options. If anything, I don't see the point of buying more polish now since I pretty much have every colour in every single finish I could possibly need! And who actually "empties" a nail polish?

While I used a fairly new polish as my base (Essie Expressie in Choreo Queen*), For the glitter tips, I sponged on Sally Hansen Gem Crush in Big Money (circa 2012) as I thought the light purple glitter paired nicely with my purple base. The Gem Crush collection was quite dense in glitter so though I could have probably applied it with the regular nail polish brush, a sponge does all of the gradient work for you and just gives a more natural result. I sealed it all in with a top coat and then I was good to go!
