Let's soft launch August as I realize that I only managed to blog 8x last month! Usually if I do less than 10 blog posts it is because I am sick, away or dealing with some sort of mental anguish. For July, I was just so sleepy on a lot of my time off and just wanted to get house things done instead of sit down and type. We have also been using my days off to enjoy the summer weather and enjoy some quality time so truthfully, taking a bit of a summer break has been welcome!
My empties bucket was overflowing last month because of these SEVEN skincare products that I managed to finish! Most of them were at sort of the 3/4 or 1/2 mark so I committed to using them the last couple of months and it paid off! I really loved the Kiehl's Herbal Cleanser, but it's a shame it has been discontinued. I also enjoyed the Naked Sundays sunscreen though it looks like this exact product no longer exists, but they seem to have many other options that I might try later on in the year.
The JOWAE Hydrating Water Mist lasted probably 6 months and though the cherry blossom scent was a bit overpowering in the end, I love waking up in the morning to a refreshingly cold mist like this one! I was sent two in PR so I will start my second bottle as soon as I am done with my current toner.

I finished THREE makeup items last month and I count ANY makeup finishes as a win because man do they take a long time to use up! I use setting sprays all the time so using up this old (and OG Skindinavia) Urban Decay All Nighter spray made me sad since the formula isn't quite the same. I have so many of these sprays from PR so I think I have a few more to last the year at least! I also am very proud of finishing an entire Sephora lipgloss and a full-sized Sephora Eyeshadow Pencil in Taupe! I love this colour and even when I sharpened this last little bit, it was too dry to apply comfortably across my eyelid, but luckily I already have a spare!
I used TWO sheet masks last month. I mean WOW that has got to be a record for me in terms of sadness. With the heatwave and the exhaustion, I really didn't feel like doing much of a night time routine so I am not surprised this was the result.
I used ONE body moisturizer and it has also been awhile since I have used a body lotion in full. This Biotherm Lait Corporel is one of my all-time favourites because it smells like fresh citrus and the texture is quite light without much dry down time.
I used up a total of ELEVEN samples which was also a sad one for me, but I was just too lazy to really try anything new. The only product of note is the Bliss That's Incredi-Peel!" glycolic acid wipes which even as old as these are, were still VERY saturated with product and kind of intensely burny on my face so I might move these to body use as I have a whole box of them.
