SHEET MASK | Mediheal x BTS NMF and Tea Tree Sheet Masks

I am cheating a little bit here because I have reviewed one of these Mediheal sheet masks in the past, but because today's masks had limited edition BTS packaging, I wanted to give them their own review! It has been about 7 years since the Mediheal x BTS collaboration was announced, so I think I picked up these masks between 2018-2020 and have been sitting on the reviews since. These two masks were the last ones in the boxes of 10 I purchased so it seemed fitting to give them a sendoff review worthy of how much I enjoyed them!

 

Both masks looked exactly the same with the Mediheal logo imprinted on the mask itself which is how Mediheal let's you know that these are legitimate masks and not knock-offs.

The NMF Aquaring Ampoule Mask is one of the OG sheet masks as it is well over 10 years old now and still a beloved favourite. What makes this mask special is the inclusion of hyaluronic acid, witch hazel, hydrating mushroom extract, rose water and Mediheal's own "New Moisture Factor".

The newer formula for this mask now focuses more on hydration as it contains eight different types of HA and having used the new mask, it is definitely very hydrating! The new formula also contains brightening niacinamide so that skin is left radiant in addition to hydrated.

Thickness: Thin - Mediheal is one of the nicest sheet masks I have tried over the last decade!

Mask Fit: Near perfect fit!

Tackiness: Medium    

Hydration: High so I felt a bit too sticky to use moisturizer over top

My skin shouldn't really like this Tea Tree Mask, but I REALLY like these specifically for summer or when I don't want a mask that is too heavy on the skin. I also happen to love the scent of tea tree so it's a little bit of an aromatherapy experience as well. This mask also contains cica and chamomile extract to soothe skin while also containing the natural BHA, willow bark extract, to get into the pores and clear 'em out!

Final verdict: These are well in existence all these years later because they truly are efficacious without costing more than $5! I have always liked Mediheal and it's nice to see that they are getting more and more recognized in the North American market. I actively use both all the time and have restocked on the NMF one. I actually need to restock the Tea Tree one now!
