HAIR | 5 Heat Protectants I Use Everytime I Style My Hair

I never thought about how much I use heat protectant until I looked around and saw just how many bottles of the stuff I had and just how empty most of them alllmost were (I'm terrible at sticking to one)! If you have coloured hair, you will understand just how important using a heat protectant can be as it keeps colour in your hair for longer, but in general protects hair from damage from heat styling tools and UV light. A lot of protectants also hydrate, add shine and help to improve hair texture so even if you don't have coloured hair, this isn't a bad product to add to your haircare routine!

HAIR | Shiny Hair with these Radiance Enhancing Products from Raincry

In addition to the eyes, the other part of me that I care more about now that half of my face is covered up is my hair. It's actually how I identify clients now so if someone changes their hair, I actually have to double check that it's actually who I think it is! While I used to have days where I would put my hair in a ponytail for work, I have found that I get almost bored with how I look now if I "take away" my hair if that makes sense? If anything, I now enjoy wearing my hair "bigger" and with more volume and have even been contemplating changing the colour completely just to have some fun! I almost feel a sense of disconnect with my appearance when half of my face is covered up so I am trying to have fun with what I have left! I have been enjoying trying out new hair products on a monthly basis and recently have been enamoured once again with some very nice products from Raincry that have made me not want to use anything else!

HAIR | The New KMS and First Impressions! #StyleMatters

If you hadn't noticed from my content, I talk a lot about my hair and I love talking to other people about THEIR hair. Just like skincare, I'm starting to get a little religious about haircare and I have learned that coloured hair needs a little bit more TLC. I find that I can't be too lazy with it because it honestly looks terrible without a little help. It's dry and frizzy and always needs a good tame before I can look truly put together. In the mornings I dread that extra time I need to put in when I have just washed my hair so any products that can cut down my styling time while making my hair look like a million bucks is welcome to the family! I mean, let's face it, how much BETTER does Monday feel when you're having a great hair day?

HAIR | Lisap Ultimate Straight Fluid & Moisture Rich Smoothing Mask Review

I've been fighting frizz since 1995 which is also when puberty hit so I blame the hormones. My hair is quite coarse naturally and without any help, I feel like there is a constant halo of frizz hovering just above my actual hair. I think of it as my own personal ozone layer so when someone tells me that there is a product that will tame frizz without loss of volume AND contains botanicals that are GOOD for my hair, I say okay! Let's get it on!

Lisap is based and manufactured in Milan, Italy with 60 years of haircare experience. When it comes to nice hair, I feel like the Italians always have such shiny, thick heads of hair so I feel I can trust them. Lisap has an extensive product line, but as my concern was getting frizz-free and smooth hair, I decided to stick with keeping my hair hydrated with Lisap's ULTIMATE Collection. Formulated with a "Kerasil complex", hydrolyzed keratin and ceramide A2, hair is strengthened leaving it silky and under control. We shall see!
