MAKEUP | Getting Glam for NYE with KISS Looks So Natural Lashes in "Sultry"
What has held me back from flat out purchasing lashes is how expensive some pairs are! Lashes can range from $25-$50 and even though they last up to 25 wears, it still feels like a lot of money to shell out on something that seems so fleeting and can feel a little uncomfortable. I didn't think to look to the drugstore until I was sent a few pairs of lashes from KISS last year. I actually used them in a few of my makeup looks when I wanted to enhance my eyes subtly (here, here and here). As much I love wearing lashes that are wild and out there, realistically speaking I want my lashes to feel like my own and they need to be comfortable if I am to survive a whole work day or NYE with them!
EYELASH REVIEW | ESQIDO Mink Collection in Style “Unforgettable”
I feel like THIS is the year of the false lash for me. I had said in my beauty resolutions guest post that I vowed to get more comfortable with an eyelash curler, eyeshadow colours and applying false lashes. Although the eyelash curler is still something I haven’t mastered, I can honestly say that I am trying hard with the latter two resolutions. The more false lashes I try, the more I know what I want and I want quality. ESQIDO false lashes are professional grade mink lashes with a soft, handmade cotton lash band that are soft and fluttery in appearance yet have a wear time of up to 25 applications.
Essence | LASH Mania Reloaded False Lash Mascara
It’s no secret that being Asian has given me some itty, bitty lashes. I am still not gifted in the false lash application department, so when it comes to a mascara I tend to prefer thicker lashes over length or volume. Essence LASH Mania False Lash Mascara promises to give lashes the “oomph” they need and has one of those flexible, bendy brushes that feels almost weightless in my hand.
