Oh my goodness, we are motoring along in the year and we have now come to another month end which means another month of favourites! I feel like I had more than what I have showing here, but this is all I could remember! I really need to start making notes!

More hours of sunshine and longer days can only mean one thing. Winter is finally over and spring has arrived! Even though it has been Spring for a couple of weeks, my skin still feels like it has been recovering from what feels like one of the driest winters I have ever experienced! When you love nail polish and then decide to share your nails up-close and macro with the online world, you really learn to take care of them! God help me if my cuticles look ragged and inflamed. Living out on the West Coast means that for the most part, the air is fairly humid and I rarely have any issues with my cuticles…until this year. Something happened and my right hand especially was looking severely “hungnail-over” every day. Maybe I’ve been using more acetone than usual, but whatever it is thank goodness for the nail gurus at Sally Hansen and their two new emergency nail rescue treatments!

Earth Day is coming up on April 22nd and for the first time this year, I’m going to celebrate by showcasing some of my favourite eco-friendly beauty products! “Eco” has varying levels of meaning to everyone, but I do my best to treat our planet and my body well and while that might not mean swearing off every paraben in pretty packaging, I do try to opt for the “healthier” product version whenever I can. Make Up For Ever | HD Blush in #215 Flamingo Pink

The Make Up For Ever HD collection has been one of the more iconic in the MUFE and let’s face it, beauty industry and today there is another addition to the HD family – the new HD Cream Blush ($31.00 CDN). I have never been one for cream blushes as they terrify me in terms of potential clown-like application, but MUFE has changed my mind and after two solid weeks of using this blush, I don’t know why I was ever scared of cream blushes!
