Make Up For Ever | HD Blush in #215 Flamingo Pink

The Make Up For Ever HD collection has been one of the more iconic in the MUFE and let’s face it, beauty industry and today there is another addition to the HD family – the new HD Cream Blush ($31.00 CDN). I have never been one for cream blushes as they terrify me in terms of potential clown-like application, but MUFE has changed my mind and after two solid weeks of using this blush, I don’t know why I was ever scared of cream blushes!

This is #215, but there are 15 other shades to choose from! Enough for all skin tones!

The seamless finish is all thanks to silica powers and synthetic mica while clear mother of pearl provides a natural-looking colour with a radiant, healthy finish.

Just like with the HD Pressed Powder there is a tiny pinhole for easy depotting.

As you can see from my mega close-up face shots, that #215 provides a very natural flush and is perfect for the cream blush newbie like me that was terrified of overdoing it!

Final Verdict: The wear time of this blush is incredible! I took these pictures after a full day at work. This blush does not budge in its colour and when MUFE says this is a “second skin cream blush”, they aren’t kidding. I found this to be easily buildable when applied with a stippling motion of a blush brush and sheers out beautifully if you are a little heavy-handed in application.

Although this blush is on the pricier side at 2.8g/$31.00, a little does go a long way. I didn’t need much to give my cheeks the flush they needed and I’m sure a darker blush would require even less product. All I can say is that I love this product and have realized that I need a few more of these in maybe a dark vampy or coral colour. I just cannot get over how long-wearing this blush is and for that alone, I think this product is well worth the price tag!
