Well, hello there! I don't think I could ever top my #35SheetMaskGiveaway from last year, but maybe when I turn 40 I will do something similar! It has been a year since I shared some of my favourite masks with you and it is time again for another round of sheet mask sharing! One Cosmetic Proof reader will be winning 20 awesome sheet masks that will either make you glow or look like a tiger! As easy as this would be to run this giveaway on Instagram, the platform has been been a hard one to gain visibility for everyone I think so I'd rather this be on the interwebs so that more people have a chance of entering as this giveaway is open WORLDWIDE!

NAILS | Dots and Jagged Edges with the new CND Treasured Moments Collection! #CBBxManiMonday

Last Wednesday, I had the pleasure of joining the CND Canada team at Onyx Aesthetics in Gastown for another fabulous manicure to showcase the brand new Treasured Moments Collection for the fall season. I had originally wanted to do some nail art since I had the day off and had the time, but once I saw all of these luscious colours, I realized I wanted to play around on my own at home to see what I could come up with.

SHEET MASK | FaceTory Sun Bae Soothing Mask

I will be honest that I haven't gone out in the sun much this year. This whole summer I have pretty much worked and stayed inside since I feel like I don't spend that much time at home. I had a ton of plans to outfit the patio with summer chairs and tables at the end of June and while I did get the patio cleaned up, everything in June fell to the wayside when Hemingway got sick. Since then, my motivations for getting things done have gone downhill and while I wouldn't say I've been wallowing and doing nothing, my picturesque view of a carefree summer has been tainted and I will always think of "Summer 2019" as one of loss. Throughout all of this, there have been small joys with friends and thankfully beauty which will always be a source of enjoyment for me.

HAIR | Masking with Marc Anthony

Not only are sheet masks important to me, but hair masks are something I cannot live without! I use a hair mask twice a week and there are dire consequences if I don't! My hair just looks and feels so lackluster that I don't take the risk anymore. While I generally focus on hydration masks, I have been getting more and more into masks that also focus on volume and cleansing the scalp without drying out the rest of my hair (Christophe Robin mask I am talking to YOU!). While I do enjoy salon level hair care products, I have had some great luck with higher end drugstore brands one of which is a long time love of mine - Marc Anthony!

NAILS | Cactus Makes Perfect #CBBxManiMonday

I will have to make this brief as I can barely keep my eyes open and have been struggling with fighting fatigue for the last couple of days just from having busy days at work with trying to cover for people who are either on vacation or sick.  Today I finally attempted some cactus nail art and looking at the design, I wish I had gone crazier and drawn them everywhere because they were quite fun to draw!
