This summer’s Luxe Box wasn’t a surprise as we were all given the opportunity to upgrade to a variety of different boxes prior to ship out. For an extra $5, I decided to upgrade to the LOULOU edition mainly because there was going to be a Cake Beauty product that I had been wanting to try! I have a yearly subscription so while each quarter is $24, having to pay $29 for this Luxe box was quite the steal considering what I would be getting!

Thoughts: I have never tried any skincare from Philosophy, but from what I’ve been told this cleanser is a good one!

Clinique | High Impact Mascara in Black
Kicks up the volume and length of each and every lash for a look that's lusher, plusher, bolder. Pure, deep colour only adds to the impact. Wear it once and you'll feel naked without it. Ophthalmologist Tested.
Thoughts: This is always the mascara that is given in the gift with purchase packages, so I have tried this before on plenty of occasions, but it’s actually pretty good! I’ve always liked the formula and how it worked with my lashes.

Cake Beauty | Heavy Cream Intensive Hand Repair Balm

Thoughts: This was the product I REALLY wanted to try! It smells so incredibly creamy and is VERY hydrating.

Essie | Sleek Stick Nail Appliques
Re-create chic looks fresh from the runway without picking up a brush. Pre-cured UV appliqués mimic the feel of a handcrafted nail art and last up to 10 days.
Thoughts: I haven’t tried the Essie branded nail stickers yet, but I don’t have very high expectations considering the luck I have had with almost every brand out there. It’s strange, but I still get so excited when I see these. They look so pretty in their packaging!

Roberto Cavalli | Just Cavalli Eau de Toilette Spray

Thoughts: My initial though was how hard this bottle was to open! Wow! At first I thought I was “doing it wrong”. Once I got it open, I really enjoyed the scent. It reminds me of colder weather though so I might keep this for the Fall.

Thoughts: I totally wanted to try this once I saw the video of how to put this on! Patting my lashes? LOL, I have to see if this does anything although I feel like this is a cosmetic gimmick.

Knotties | Hair Ties
Stay cool in the summer heat by keeping your hair away from your face without the creases.
Thoughts: I don’t get these…what’s wrong with a regular black hair tie? I know these double as bracelets, but maybe for a teenager? As for keeping creases out of my hair, I think if you keep your hair tied up for long enough, you’ll still get kinks…maybe I’ll use them to tie up my hair in bed since I do it so loosely.

Vichy | Aqualia Thermal Night Spa Sleeping Mask

Thoughts: Masks!! I am a mask fiend! I use a sleeping mask every other night so I will gladly work this into my sleeping mask schedule! Masks are incredibly hydrating and you wake up with super soft skin. The price for the full size is actually pretty reasonable too.

Amazing value I’d say for $29! Full and deluxe sample sizes with big names that were well worth the wait! Even though it wasn’t a surprise, I’m so happy I upgraded to this version because seeing the items in person was still just as exciting!
