*CBB Featured Brand* Annabelle Cosmetics | Lipsies Fruity Lip Balm in Lime, Coco-Vanilla and Fruit Punch with Swatches!

I am very excited because for the month of July because Annabelle Cosmetics is the Canadian Beauty Bloggers featured brand of the month! Annabelle Cosmetics is wonderfully Canadian whose product assortment contains a number of beauty favourites! Like some sort of beauty crow, bright colours and cute packaging always catch my eye so what do you think happened when the limited edition Annabelle Lipsies Fruity Lip Balms ($4.99) made their way into my local drugstore? I picked up the three scents that were the most appealing to me: Lime, Fruit Punch and Coco-Vanilla. They smell fairly true to their real-life counterparts. Coco-Vanilla was a bit strong, but I liked the scents of Lime and Fruit Punch.

You can see from the swatches that the only one that had any real pigmentation was Fruit Punch hence the lone lip swatch. Lime was completely clear and Coco-Vanilla had a slight shimmer, but was still fairly unpigmented.

Final Verdict: They feel very lightweight, but are still hydrating to the lips. The balm isn’t waxy or too thick so reapplication will be necessary after 2-3 hours.These are twist-ups with rounded tips for balm-like application and I find them absolutely adorable to use! I almost wish I would have picked up all of the colours, but scent is really big deal for me so if it’s not a scent that appeals to me (*ahem* GRAPE), it probably won’t make it into my makeup collection despite how awesome the colour. I love the colours I did get though and I feel like they do a wonderful job of keeping my lips hydrated and with a dash of colour too!
