I was working today, Thanksgiving Monday, so I ended up having a very quiet Thanksgiving dinner last night with my husband. Though we didn't have turkey, we still ended up making a good number of traditional Thanksgiving sides and after all of the gluttony, I had completely forgotten about doing Thanksgiving nail art! Now, I know you guys have already seen tons of posts about Dior's Fall Skyline collection, but you know how slow I am so only now in October am I debuting Dior's Skyline collection! I'm not the most creative person and often need to peruse Pinterest for inspiration or better yet, take the name of the polish I am using and draw it on my nails!
The Dior Skyline collection features two very neutral creme polishes in the shades: Minimal*, a peachy nude, and Skyline*, a deep purple brown. Minimal wasn't the best shade on me with respect to my skintone, but Skyline was more unique and very "fall sophistique".
For this manicure, I painted two coats of Dior - Minimal followed by three lines of Dior - Skyline to represent buildings. To give your buildings that rounded look, make sure there is a "bubble" of polish on the end of your brush. Then, with a small dotting tool, add in some lights and a moon/sun with Dior - Sunwashed*. For some final city touches, add in some red indicator lights using Dior- Passion*. Finish the manicure with Dior's Gel Top Coat and you're set!
The Dior Skyline Collection is available now for a limited time at all Dior counters.
