Coming back to the blog is like rediscovering an old friend. I looked at my calendar and realized that I had only two posts for your reading pleasure last week! For shame! In all honesty though, my ongoing trend of being exhausted continued on and even now on my second day off, I am still struggling to keep my eyes open. I think I actually might be either sick or lacking in something so I plan on getting some blood work done to rule out anything scary!
While I was hoping to keep to a theme for Sundays, it will just have to wait until next week, but for now I have something that is just too cute not to chat about! Earlier in the summer, I was so in love with the cutenesss of the Doraemon edition of the A'Pieu Ait Fit Cushion (review), but did you know that Doraemon's sister, Dorami, was also part of the collection? She is yellow and has red ears that are meant to resemble a big red bow. How totally "kawaii"!

The collection featured two cushion blushes as well as a cushion bronzer. As much as I love having complete collections, I knew I wouldn't use the bronzer all that often so I went with the two cushion blushes in the shades: CR01 and PK01 which translate into "Coral" and "Pink". Two VERY useful shades for any girl's makeup collection.
The finish of cushion blushes lean toward the dewy side, but if you prefer a more matte finish, a quick dusting of powder will do the trick.
Both shades were very blendable and I only needed barely one full tap of the sponge into the cushion. If anything, I went with a full press the first time and had so much product on the sponge that I had to tap out the excess product on my arm so that I wouldn't look like a clown!
I have been wearing the coral shade A LOT so here it is on my pretty much makeup-free face.
Final verdict: Cuteness factor aside, I have been using these blushes more than I thought I would. The shades are incredibly easy to wear and can be intensified. The initial sensation of a cushion blush on the skin can be something to get used to because it just feels so "wet", but moist feelings aside, wear-time was not quite a full work day as I found the colour separated around the 6-8 hour mark, but still a nice blush to have on hand.
I got these last year through Rose Rose Shop, but they are now sold out so the best place to pick these up now is on ebay.
