I am still a little "nail-arted out" from the holidays so my detailer brush will have to wait until later, but for today's manicure, I was watching a Youtube video where someone was mixing a gel polish finish with one of the new chrome powders (I think I will have to try this VERY soon!) and I thought, why not mix a glitter with a creme finish?!
I started off with two coats of Sally Hansen Color Therapy - Therapewter* and waited for it to FULLY dry. Then I applied adhesive ring reinforcements at the base of my nail to create a half moon. I then applied one thick coat of Sally Hansen Color Therapy - Cool Cucumber* and then peeled off the reinforcements right away. You can stop here or you can add a little bit of extra flash with some dots of Therapewter. Top coat and you're done!
I haven't really noticed too much of a difference in terms of wear time with these polishes and right now I am at 5 days without a single chip which is pretty good I think!
