Today's edition of #SheetMaskSunday is coming to you erm, a little late because well Thanksgiving dinner happened. Even though my husband and I were the only people in attendance, we decided to a full dinner with sides of bacon and brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes and of course stuffing. We ended up doing a little ham instead of turkey since we actually have quite a bit of food in our fridge already that we need to eat and it was all just really pleasant! As we speak, I am waiting for our apple pie to heat up in the oven so that I can slather it with ice cream!
I had no idea what to expect with this mask, but when I saw that it was apparently a "smart mask" that changed colour according to how hydrated your skin was, you bet I wanted to try it out! I mean, this is skintertainment at its best!
This mask has a unique star print that changes colour from white (hot) to red to black (cool) as your skin reaches its optimal hydration levels. Now, I don't really think that this can really work to tell me that so I assume the stars change colour based on temperature.
Ingredients: Water (Aqua/Eau/Agua), Glycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Butylene Glycol, Glycereth-26, Isopentyldiol, Allantoin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Fruit Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime) Fruit Extract, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract, Madecassoside, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Xanthan Gum, Carbomer, Trehalose, Betaine, Ethylhexylglycerin, Polysorbate 20, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance (Parfum/Fragancia)
When the mask is first applied, the stars are a very faint pink, barely detectable, but darkened as time went by. I removed the mask after about 20 minutes and my skin was definitely hydrated!
Mask Summary:
Price: $4.50 CDN
Skin concerns: Texture and dryness
Scent: Slightly floral
Essence Type: Clear, watery
Duration: 15-20 minutes
Thickness: Medium due to print, but not bad for a printed mask
Mask Fit: Decent, but a little bit of creasing in certain areas due to the thickness of the mask
Tackiness: Light
Hydration: Good
Other notes: The stars change colour more intensely when the mask wasn't on my face and got cold from the air!

Final verdict: This mask was fun, but I'm not sure if I would pick it up again. I would get it for someone else though since it's worth the experience, but I prefer a mask with a thinner sheet material and I don't care too much for the stars. This was a really great idea though and printed masks are always amusing so pick this up for the fun factor if you are interested! No downside here!
