BATH | Lush Easter Collection

I think Easter has to be my second favourite time of the year (after Christmas) when it comes to bath bomb goodies from Lush! It is specifically "eggs" that I enjoy as every year there seems to be a more and more creative way of incorporating them into "tub life". Don't get me wrong, I love bunnies too, but I always feel like eggs hold the cutest surprises hehe!

Funfetti Cake Lip Scrub
Lush funfetti cake lip scrub close up

I found this Lush lip scrub to be a bit different in formulation in that it seemed much finer and more powdery in consistency. While I thought this scrub tasted sweet, I wouldn't call the scent necessarily a "cake" scent which is what a number of reviews seemed to say as well. I would almost describe it as "bubblegum meets maple with a bit of vanilla". While I don't dislike it, it wasn't quite what I was expecting.

Singing Daffodil Reusable Bubble Bar

I have been very fancy with my baths lately and love getting both a bubble bar and bath bomb going and what I have noticed now having tried a few bubble bars from different brands is that Lush's bubble bars are SUPER bubbly so a little goes a long way! This floral scented bubble bar actually lets you blow some decent sized bubbles! It was kind of impressive! I blew one about as big as my head and I was quite proud!

Walter Bunny Body Butter

This is very similar to "Scrubee" in that an exfoliant, in this case fine maize flour, sits in a moisturizing base of shea and murumuru butter. I use this as my last step in the shower as a 2 in 1 step and smells like cocoa and vanilla. This a bit messy though as the metallic finish immediately comes off the hands and the water will run brown. I actually prefer the Scrubee to this one because it's mess-free, but for the sake of Easter, this is still very cute.!

Flamingo Egg Bath Bomb

Made with plastic-free glitter, you already know that this bath bomb is going to give some incredible bathwater colours! This is cotton candy and Sicilian lemon oil scented and is sprinkled with sparkly coarse sea salt. I have not used this yet, but I am looking forward to it because I know I will enjoy it!

Humpty Dumpty Bath Bomb

This was the first bath bomb I had to try the other night because it was so epically big and smelled SO GOOD (scented like the toffee caramel scent of "Honey, I Washed the Kids")! Not only does this bath bomb give the prettiest mint green bathwater, but there is a bonus bath bomb inside! In keeping on theme with "egg surprises", there is a mini fried egg bath bomb inside!

Follow the White Rabbit Bath Bomb

Another colourful wonder, this bath bomb is scented with lemon, bergamot and buchu oils and looks adorable with its little bunny feet in the air. My bath bomb expectations run pretty high now thanks to my experience with indie bath bombers so the fact that this is a rainbow bath bomb gets a huge paws up from me!

The Owl and the Pussycat Bath Bomb

"The Owl and the Pussycat" is a poem written by Edward Lear with the first line being "The Owl and the Pussycat went to sea in a beautiful pea green boat". Well, here it is in bath bomb form! There are THREE bath bombs here so you can either use them all at once to get some beautifully citrus-inspired bathwater. Honestly, I'm probably going to play with this bath bomb like a child before giving them the final submersion dunk in the tub!
