SHEET MASK | Wonjin Effect Medi Energy Infusion Sheet Mask

Wonjin Effect Medi Energy Infusion
Purchased by me

Wonjin Effect is one of my FAVOURITE Korean sheet mask brands and it was also one of the first brands introduced to me when I first got started on my sheet mask journey back in 2018. After trying a couple of masks from them, I have yet to be disappointed and find myself repurchasing them by the pack! Today's #SheetMaskSunday is no exception!

What makes this mask special? There are a number of things firstly with the sheet mask fabric being made from something called "Medi-seal" which is the same material used at the Wonjin Plastic Surgery Hospital in Korea as it is the thinnest, medical-grade sterile sheet that is used on patients with burns after laser surgery! This mask also contains a peptide complex to energize and aid in collagen synthesis, an amino acid complex to strengthen the skin barrier and mineral-rich peat, glacier and ocean water to maintain skin's pH levels.

The mask material is EVERYTHING. It is so soft, thin and soothing to touch and if I could have my whole body wrapped in it, I would! I would have liked the forehead and the moustache area of the mask to have been a bit wider, but this mask was oh so nice that I am willing to forgive the fit!

Final verdict: Oooooh, this mask is so nice!!! The texture of my skin felt so smooth and when I looked at my skin, it looked so even in tone and refreshed! I liked that I could use a bit of moisturizer on top and if you have dry skin, you will feel like you need it as this mask on its own isn't super hydrating which I actually kind of like! I treat sheet masks like a serum, so I do prefer it if they aren't incredibly hydrating but instead act more like a treatment where I can still layer a moisturizer to seal in all the "work"!
