SHEET MASK | Flower Beauty Revitalizing and Radiance Boosting Sheet Mask

Flower Beauty Revitalizing and Radiance Boosting Sheet Mask

Purchased by me

In 2019, a couple of other beauty bloggers and I decided to take on April and the theme of Earth Month by using sheet masks that leaned towards the more natural side. I obviously took this opportunity to have myself a shopping spree at Well.ca as at the time, they had a number of sheet masks coming from "earth-friendly" brands. One of those brands was Drew Barrymore's Flower Beauty and though these masks are now discontinued, at the time, they were an exciting addition to the Flower Beauty line up.

The first thing I will note about both masks is that the term "bio cellulose sheet" is used and generally speaking, in the world of sheet masks, this term is used for this type of mask with its alien skin-like properties and gelatinous texture. I was a bit disappointed when I opened up the packet and found a granted, well-fitted, cotton sheet mask.

What makes this mask special? This mask contains pearl extract for immediate radiance, hydrolyzed collagen and niacinamide. The key ingredients are towards the end of the list which is a bit disappointing.

The sheet mask material itself was nice, but I found that fit to be a bit big on the sides of my face. The area around my chin fit beautifully and there was a good amount of essence in the package to make sure everything "stuck"!

Flower Beauty Revitalizing and Radiance Boosting Sheet Mask

Mask Summary:

Price: $5.46 CDN (I know, it's a very specific amount!)

What it does: Radiance boosting and brightens complexion.

Scent: Floral

Essence Type: Clear, slightly viscous and lots of it in the package.

Duration: 20 minutes

Thickness: Thin

Mask Fit: Big on sides of face, but good around chin area.

Tackiness: Light/medium

Hydration: I actually found it ever so slightly too much for me, but I did not need to add any moisturizer afterwards.

Other notes: I did actually look fairly fresh faced upon removal so there is something to be said for that!

What makes this mask special? The essence has caviar extract, known for its anti-oxidant properties, as well as hydrolyzed collagen and niacinamide. I was initially expecting this mask to be coloured black because of the packaging, but it was just a standard white cotton sheet mask.

Duration: 20 minutes

Thickness: Thin

Final verdict: While both of these masks were fairly good, packaging fun, for the price and performance, there are plenty of other Korean branded masks that are less expensive and with better ingredients. I loved that many Western brands got on board with making sheet masks (even though they were still made in Korea), but I feel like in the end, I still mostly use Korean branded sheet masks.

You can no longer find these masks anywhere as they have been discontinued. Hopefully some of you got a chance to try them out!
