November 2012 Julep Boho Glam Maven Box

This is super late, I know, but there were some issues with my November order which resulted in my only receiving my November Maven Box in the first week of December. For the month of November, I decided to switch it up from Classic with a Twist to Boho Glam. I don’t think I’ve EVER stuck to my profile! I always choose a different box! November’s theme was all about suede or matte polishes which I only have ONE of because I believe that a matte topcoat is really all a girl needs, but I thought the actual colours offered were quite unique.

Amber is described as a golden bronze suede.

Nora is described as a silver aubergine suede.

Hailee is described as a khaki green suede and was my add-on.

This moisturizer smells so good and feels super thick and moisturizing!

I was actually VERY excited to see these because I love remover pads, but have yet to find some that actually remove in one step! I will keep my fingers crossed for these Julep ones! You guys must be bored since this box is old news so I’ll keep this nice and short! Great box and I look forward to trying out some suede polishes. And, we’re done!

  1. Thank you for sharing your Julep Maven Box! I've actually never heard of these boxes so you opened my eyes to something new. I love the colors of the polish! Please let me know if the remover pads work in one swipe! Great Post!

  2. I used one of those remover pads last night and it got all the glitter polish off my toes pretty easily! I'm glad more came in the December box. The pink grapefruit is awesome - I have the scrub and moisturizer in my gym bag, which is an incentive for me to get off my butt and get to the gym more often!

    1. Oooh, well it's good to know that those nail polish pads actually work well!

Ugh, I totally need to get myself to the gym! I haven't been in years!

  3. curious about those polish wipes. Wonder they will be strong enough to wipe off everything. Love the polish in your box. I cancelled my subscription a while back but may go back in the summer time as I'm more adventurous in trying out new polish.

    1. It's nice that you can just sign up again, but could you have continued to skip until the summer?

    1. Out East gets pretty dry from my experience in Montreal so I can see how you would need to use a heavy duty moisturizer.

  10. haha at first I thought the Grapefruit body frosting was a a type of soap because I have a scrub with the exact same packaging. So I used it in the shower and I was like..."uhh this is not what it's for". Nice to know it's a moisturizer!

  11. I love that grapefruit body frosting! It's my go-to lately and I'm thinking of taking advantage of the sale they're having and buying an extra for 6$ (totally worth it) as backup.

I was swatching my matte ones from this box just yesterday, funny that you post this late and I was swatching them late yesterday.

    1. Everyone has really been raving about the moisturizer and especially for those of you out East where it gets so dry. It smells so delicious too!
