Happy Mother's Day everyone! Last month I raved about a couple of products from the Live Clean Spa Therapy collection (here) and now I am back with the rest of the collection because I needed to experience the rest of this wonderful line! Lemon, aloe vera, ginger and green tea blend together to create one of my favourite scents EVER from Live Clean. Well, other than the Exotic Nectar Argan Oil collection...that scent is pretty amazing too!
The Live Clean Spa Therapy Moisturizing Body Wash* is a clear shower gel that contains coconut, soy and jojoba oils to hydrate the body while providing a very satisfying lather on my bath puff! It smells like heaven and I will admit that when that lather gets going on the puff, I take a deep breath and just enjoy how good it smells! All of the Live Clean shower gels are fairly similar with some being cream-based, but even with the oils contained in the formulation, you will still need body moisturizer once you are out of the shower.
You guys all know that I am a body scrub fanatic so I was all over the Live Clean Spa Therapy Polishing Body Scrub* with its intensely exfoliating blend of corn meal, crushed walnut shell, soy protein and aloe vera. This is a fairly gritty exfoliant so I would stick to using this 2-3x per week unless you have the skin of a rhinoceros.
After every shower comes the moisturizer! Can you believe I NEVER did this step until I was 21? It was my now husband who pointed out that you need to hydrate after every shower! For extra dry skin, the Live Clean Spa Therapy Body Butter* is the way to go because this is seriously thick stuff! I don't often need a moisturizer this thick because Vancouver weather never gets that dry, but if you are living in a drier climate (OMG, Montreal! My skin was DYING when I was there in March!) this will be your skin savior!
The Live Clean Spa Therapy Moisturizing Body Lotion* was much more my speed and is identical in texture to other Live Clean body lotions. I also prefer pumps to jars, but obviously the thick body butter would never have made it through the pump!
