Hello all!
I hope it's not too late to do a December favourites list since I've been away! These were a few things that I've been constantly reaching for in the last month or so and I just wanted to share them with all of you.
So, the first thing that I've really been liking is The Body Shop's Shower Gel for Earth Lovers in the scent Watermelon and Eucalyptus. It's just such a refreshing scent that's not too overwhelming and best of all is 100% biodegradable and doesn't contain any sulphates, parabens or colorants so yayy!
The next thing that I've been religious about using is another Body Shop product - the Pink Grapefruit Body Scrub. This I love because it reminds me of summer :-) It smells so much like the real thing, maybe a little sweeter, and has a gel-like consistency containing fine granules that are gentle enough for me to use every day, but keeps my skin smooth and happy.
Thirdly, is the Morroccanoil hair treatment that I've had in the travel size for about 5 months and only just finished today! I only need the tiniest amount for my hair to feel smooth so I can't imagine how long I would have the full size version of this for! I made the mistake of using about a quarter sized amount once and my hair looked a little limp afterwards so I know that a little really does go a long way. I also really like the smell, kind of sweet in an "exotic" way if that makes any sense.
Next is yet another Body Shop product (I must really love them...) and it is the Almond Nail and Cuticle Oil Pen. It has a rubber cuticle pusher on one end and a brush-like applicator on the other. I like the precision the brush applicator provides as it keeps everything neat and only on your cuticles. The sweet almond smell can be a bit strong for me, which is why I've never bought the matching hand cream, but as a cuticle oil it's fine. I kept this pen in my purse all the times in Montreal because the air was so dry that my hands constantly needed TLC!
Lastly, is Skoah's Hydradew Mask which has saved my skin from dryness over the last month. It is a clear gel and is oil-free so it should work with most skin types and it smells like honeydew! Seriously, all of the Skoah products smell so good! Anyway, it is a super hydrating mask that you can even wear overnight and remove in the morning when you wash your face. It doesn't leave a residue and my skin just absorbs it. I was using it alone at first, but my skin felt better once I put serum on first. If you're not sure about purchasing the full size of this ($40), Skoah has $5 sample sizes for you to try out which is nice.
Hope you guys enjoyed my December favourites! Until next time!

I'd love to try those Body Shop shower gels! I can't imagine what Watermelon & Eucalyptus would smell like though, it's such a random combination. That mask looks interesting too!
ReplyDeleteAnna, the weird combinations are surprisingly good! I got a chance to try a bottle for free because I hit the 8 point level on the Love Your Body membership. Normally, I wouldn't have gravitated towards them either...
