Sugarpill Delights!

Hello Readers! So, yayy, it's Friday which is always nice. I don't work a regular M-F job, but I can still appreciate the weekend :-)

For today I'd like to share with you a makeup line called Sugarpill that I have been really excited to try. I took advantage of their "Pink Friday" sale in November, but didn't actually get my package until the first week of January. I blame Christmas and Customs. There is free worldwide shipping on orders over $75 which is pretty easy to achieve once you start looking at Sugarpill's absolutely amazing colours and wonderful palettes. I picked up the "Sweetheart" 4 color palette, Buttercupcake Pressed Eyeshadow and four Chromalust Loose Eyeshadows in: Magentric, Stella, Goldilux and Royal. I've always been a little scared of experimenting with bolder colours and I figure these colours should be enough to shock me into trying some new looks!

So, the other thing that I love about Sugarpill is the random obsession with cats. When I told the girls at work to expect a package with a giant cat on it, they were like,"Of COURSE, you'd be the one expecting a package with a huge cat on it. Sure". It's a cat holding a pill. It's awesome.

Included was a sparkly sticker

This is the 4-color Sweetheart Palette in ultra cute packaging which includes the colours Dollipop, Afterparty, Midori and Tako:

And my favourites, the Chromalust Loose Eyeshadows:

 Holy pigmentation, Batman!

Sugarpill definitely lives up to its reputation! I was in pigmentation heaven when I swatched! I'll admit that these probably aren't everyday colours, but man are they a lot of fun! I think maybe I'll try to sneak in bright colour here and there just to experiment, but I was so impressed with the quality. Did you see the size of the loose eyeshadow jars? 5g is a lot! I will probably be buried with my Chromalust eyeshadows with that amount! Both types of shadows were very soft and applied smoothly. My swatches were without primer, so I'm sure that WITH primer, these colours will pop quite a bit. Buttercupcake was probably the least pigmented out of the bunch, but I'm sure the colour will be fine with primer.

I totally love these eyeshadows and hope that I can create some cool looks with them. The looks other girls have created with these colours is incredible. Can't wait to get into the "lab" with these guys!

    1. Oh so much fun! Who wouldn't love makeup that associates itself with cats?!
