Palette Pandemonium!

Hello!

I thought maybe it was time to share with you my addiction to eye shadow palettes and finally recognize that I have enough colours to last me a thousand lifetimes over. It was a bit of an eye opener having them all out at the same time! So, here they look pretty harmless…

Firstly, I have my Naked palette from Urban Decay that I use religiously almost everyday. This is one product I never want to use up! I’m tempted to get Naked 2 just because of the metal casing because the fabric exterior of the original gets so grubby. You can see it also attracts cat fur!

Secondly, is another Urban Decay palette, The Book of Shadows Vol.2 that is another one of my favourites that I can’t live without. I can still justify this palette. I don’t have a problem yet…

Next, is my Stila DayDream palette that I picked up over the Christmas season. This is one I justified mainly due to price ($24) and that visually it was a sight to behold. As for quality, the shadows are just okay and some of my favourite colours are in the tiniest most awkward spots on the palette!

These next two elf palettes I regret getting…it was one of those Winners impulse buys and I think I’ve maybe used each ONCE…

And the next three palettes from BH Cosmetics are where it all falls apart. No more justifications, it’s just craziness! It started with the 120 Color Palette which a couple of companies like Coastal Scents also have. Then came the 88 Shimmer palette and the 88 Shimmer Tropical palette…sigh…

And who can forget the mineral shimmer stacks? One is from Bella Pierre Cosmetics and the other is from Providence and Grace from etsy.

So, I think I can safely say that I have every colour I would need and this doesn’t even include little single eye shadows or eye shadow quads! I’m sure I can’t be the only girl with Palette Pandemonium Syndrome! How many palettes do you guys have? Do you use all of them?

  1. That's a lot of colors! :D The only one I have that you have is the naked palette. I have 2 from coastal scents and then the naked 2 palette...and the mini Kat Von D palettes. I don't use them all the time :( I feel like it's a waste when they're not being used, but I like having them! Is that weird? lol

    1. There is something about having an intact pretty palette with all the colours there. It's true, in one palette, you only gravitate towards a few colours so now I try soo hard to resist.

  3. LOL, you're so right! My daughters (or sons?!) will probably be inheriting this collection! And, for now I think I will have to just put Naked 2 on my wishlist because I feel incredibly guilty right now, but thank you for being an enabler ;-)

  6. Great collection! I have the BH 88 shimmer palette too and think it was definitely worth the $12 I paid for it. I have 5 palettes in total: BH,Physicians Formula, 2 e.l.f. and the Naked 2... least happy with my e.l.f. ones I find them to be very powdery and lacking pigment

    1. See, I should have waited for their sale because I paid $24 for each palette AND the shipping at the time was $16.95. I hate the elf ones...I agree with you they are totally powdery and the shadow fallout is awful.

  7. I'm disgusted with myself, because my stack is huge. HUGE. I think I'd be embarassed to share. The elf stuff is pretty disappointing..and it was so easy to buy because it's cheap.

The BH cosmetics ones... OH MY!!! <3 I have 3 of their palettes and I only discovered them in April..help, help, helpppp!!!
