BH Cosmetics Haul (Purchased at an Ungodly Hour!)

I have not purchased from BH Cosmetics in a very long time because I figured I was all done with palettes ever since the “Summer of 88 Color Palettes” in 2009.  At that time, BH Cosmetics was only selling palettes and brushes so there weren’t all these other beauty temptations to lure me in. I think I can thank Aleksandra at Plumpish Beauty for posting about this huge sale that I read about at a very late hour! I actually didn’t remember that I had even placed this order until around noon the next day at work…I know, it’s a problem…

I don’t remember exact pricing, but everything was pretty inexpensive. I think the lip glosses and eye liner were around $2 each and the eyelashes around $4.

Oh, forgive me Father for I have sinned…here are the palettes…I have been obsessed with blush this past summer and even though I have only ever used up one blush to completion back in 2002, I felt like I wanted all of my favourite blush colours in one place which is why I knew I had to have this 10 Color Professional Blush Palette. I love the quality and the range of colour with everything from a natural flush to a bright pink pop of colour.

I also picked up a gorgeous lip gloss palette with you guessed it, 66 colours of glossy goodness. I am most curious about these blue glosses…whatever will I use them for? I shouldn’t need to buy another lip gloss in my lifetime right? LOL, that made me laugh. I love this palette and there is such a fantastic array of colours.

I’m sorry I don’t remember exact pricing and I’ve also thrown out my invoice, but all together with $9 of shipping, my total was $51.61 which I think is an amazing price considering how much I got.

Any other BH Cosmetics lovers (other than Aleksandra! Winking smile)? Or better yet, have you ever made a purchase online and promptly forgotten about it?

    wow nice purchase! everything seems relatively inexpensive so hooray! and yes i can admit that i have made an online purchase and forgotten about it - PLENTY of times. especially on ebay!! i was an avid ebayer last year and things would arrive out of nowhere and i'd be pleasantly surprised. i had to keep a log book in the end because i didn't want to lose track haha

      I have a logbook too! I use Google Calendar and I make a note of when I order and when it's shipped out. So far, haven't lost anything!

    omg these look incredible! Eek! Late night shopping is dangerous...I know how you feel lol...but it kind of ends up being worth it in the end, right? hehe. I can't believe all the glosses that palette comes with! gasp! So pretty!

      Haha, I guess it is worth it in the end, but oh my gosh late night shopping is so scary. I usually make a rule about not buying things late at night, but I totally caved with this one...

    Oh! This is a great haul; I have a weakness for those glosses!!! The blushes are super pretty as well. But I think my favourite is the lashes - I'm on somewhat of a lash kick myself and those look really fun.

      The blush palette is something I am looking forward to using. All the colours look like they would suit anyone and be great for year round.

    I adored the 88 shimmer palette last year! I love the blue glosses in your lip glosses palette! Will be fun to play with.. and at those prices you can't go wrong!

      The 88 Shimmer Palette is THE BEST! I haven't tried the blue glosses yet...I'm guessing it's just sort of a tint although Steph's suggestion of doing a FOTD with them might be kind of funny!

    For some reason I didn't see this post before, oh my god! I'm in love with that blush palette!! I've had my eye on it since I first saw it on BHCosmetics' website and forgot about it for a while now but the colors look absolutely beautiful here!
    I wish their shipping wasn't so expensive, I'd be trying to buy it now.

      I've been wanting that blush palette for so long and I think it was something like $10 so I couldn't say no! I think I paid about $9 for shipping which is ok. I thought shipping would be cheaper for you in the US though?

      I think last time I ordered it was about $8 for shipping, it's not outrageous but I feel like I'm paying almost as much in shipping as I am for what I'm buying.

    LOL I usually end up doing most of my online shopping after 1am too. Something about sleepless nights and eyeshadow (or nail polish) go together don't yah think? At least you didn't do too much damage :-D

      It's such a dangerous time to go shopping! I don't do it often because I don't make the best decisions at that time of night, but this was a bit of a slip :-S
