For the month of August, I was once again unimpressed with the Prive box selections and opted for the regular Topbox once more. I have found that I generally prefer the regular Topboxes to the Prive ones, but I can’t tell if it’s because of the product selection or the element of surprise! It’s probably a bit of both, but I was very pleased with what I received this month even if I already had one of the products!
Clinique | Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion
Step 3 in Clinique’s 3 Step Skin Care System. New formula strengthens skin’s own moisture barrier by 54%. Moisture stays in. Skin feels soft and springy and has a healthy glow.
Thoughts: I know this is a sample that is given out A LOT, but oddly enough, I have yet to actually try this moisturizer! I always seem to get the GWPs WITHOUT this sample so now I get to see what everyone’s talking about!

Miyu Teas & Beauty | Hydrate Mi Pairing

Thoughts: I found this product to be quite interesting since the facial mist can also be used as a serum. I also love the idea of amalgamating a facial mist with a good cup of tea!

China Glaze | Nail Lacquer in Keepin’ It Teal
These unique lacquers contain china clay as a nail hardener, the same material that gives porcelain its shiny finish.
Thoughts: This is from this summer’s Sunsational Collection and is a crelly polish which of course…I already own! This is a great colour though and has made its home in my sister’s collection ;-)

Avon | MEGA Effects Mascara
Panoramic volume – lashes look darker, denser and more dramatic for up to 24 hours.
Thoughts: I have been SO curious about this mascara! It’s quite the contraption and has been all the buzz on the beauty blogosphere, but ever since I got eyelash extensions 2 weeks ago, I can’t use mascara! I only got the extensions for my wedding, so we’ll see if I will ever get a chance to try this mascara, but it looks super cool!
