Over the summer, Lush released the Rock Your Body Kit that immediately caught my eye because inside were four full-sized items that when purchased separately would have cost around $38. Instead, this little kit was $25.95 and gave me a chance to try some Lush products that I had yet to treat myself to! Yes, I know it’s October and this kit came out in the summer. I still decided to post this as the products are all very much staples in the Lush inventory and if any of you are curious about them, they are readily available for cosmetic consumption!
I have never used a scrub in this form before, but the scent of ginger and fennel smells so refreshing that I think I’m going to enjoy using this in the shower!
2. Lush – Each Peach Massage Bar (50g)
The massage bar was a scent that I was able to choose and because it had been such a long time since I picked up a massage bar from Lush I was sniffing for awhile before settling on Each Peach with its lime, mandarin and orange essential oils.
3. Lush – Lustre Body Powder (40g)
I could choose from any dusting powder at Lush, but because I had them all, this was the best option for me! Lustre is the latest body powder from Lush and it is a subtle golden dusting powder that smells like jasmine. This seemed like the perfect product for accentuating the hint of a tan that I managed to acquire during my mostly indoor Vancouver summer.
A Lush cult favourite, Dream Cream was the main reason for my getting this kit in the first place! I wanted a pot all to myself! This moisturizer is perfect for dry skin like mine and if you have sensitive skin like my fiancé, perfect for him as well. I just have to remind him that’s it’s mine ;-)
This was an “at the register” purchase and not part of the Rock Your Body Kit.! After trying a sample of this hand and body lotion and enjoying it, I decided to pick up the miniature sized version with proceeds going to supporting the honeybees! Supporting honeybees is a cause that I fully support and I was delighted to see Lush doing so as well.
Did any of you pick up the Rock Your Body Kit for yourselves? What did you choose for your massage bar and body powder?
