I seem to be all about Korean cosmetics lately and my latest find is the Korean clothing and cosmetic site MOOTTA which varies a bit from the conventional Korean cosmetics sites we usually see in that cosmetics is not the main focus. Instead, it is seen as part of creating a personal fashion statement in combination with the latest trends in bags, accessories and clothing. That being said, MOOTTA still carries a very good selection of cosmetics and even has an “In the Spotlight” feature for those must have products. I learned about something called “free sizing” not too long ago which is what MOOTTA offers on some of their clothing items. A “free size” is approximately a small/medium which works for me if I’m not looking for something overly fitted. There is a conversion size chart available if you’re not sure if free sizing is something that will work for you.
A few things IMMEDIATELY caught my eye about MOOTTA. Firstly, the minimalist look of the site allowing for snappy page loading times. Slow load times are one of the qualities of a site that drastically impact my online shopping experience! Secondly, the FREE WORLDWIDE shipping over $50 which, let’s not kid ourselves here, is very easy to achieve!
Those of you who saw my teaser picture on Instagram saw just how incredibly delicious the packaging was for my MOOTTA order! I would have MOOTTA wrap all of my gifts if I could! I really felt like I was unwrapping many many presents!

Etude House | Cherry Lip Gel Patch Mask $2.58 CDN
Its gelatinous look has been taunting me for months so I bit the bullet and grabbed one to try. I don’t think it’ll really work, but I just want to scare my fiancé with it.
Tonymoly | Shiny Foot Super Peeling Liquid ($9.29 CDN)
We all have that hard calloused skin now that sandal season is over and if this stuff can make my feet look like that baby’s foot on the packaging, I’m sold! I wonder if it will hurt?
Etude House | Baking Powder Crunch Pore Scrub ($8.26 CDN)
I don’t know why I thought I was just receiving one of the little blue packets you see in the container, but what really piqued my interest in this product was the peppermint extract in the scrub granules themselves.
Skinfood | Facial Ice Vita Cooling Stick ($8.26 CDN)
Ideally used after toner, this moisturizing cooling stick is actually blue in colour and is cool to the touch! You can use it under your eyes and anywhere else on your face you need a blast of ice!
Skinfood | Nail Vita Alpha ($2.58 CDN)
There are only 5 colours on the MOOTTA site right now and I hope more get added in the future! These are my first Skinfood polishes and I am excited! The price was pretty damn good too!
Aritaum | Modi Glam Nails Polish ($3.61 CDN)
This colour is no longer available, but it’s a beautiful metallic rose gold that looked really pretty from the few swatches I was able to find.
Tonymoly | Petite Bunny Gloss Bar ($5.16 CDN)
Hehe, I’ve always wanted one more as a keepsake than anything. Who doesn’t love those bunny ears?
Tonymoly | Fruits Princess Gloss ($8.26 CDN)
Again, it’s a princess in a fruit outfit. What’s not to love? The gloss itself smells really good, has a smooth finish and has been enjoyable to wear.
And of course, no Korean cosmetics order is complete without SAMPLES!
My overall experience with MOOTTA was VERY positive with my order arriving in 9 business days and was of course packaged very nicely. The customer service was phenomenal and I felt like I was in the loop at all times with regards to where my order was in the assembly line.
