MAKEUP | Diorskin Nude Air Glowing Gardens Illuminating Powder in Glowing Pink and Glowing Nude (Review & Swatches)

Oh my. I know this is the year of the highlight and believe me I have resisted many shimmering beauties, but these guys had me at hello. The Diorskin Illuminating Powders from the limited edition Glowing Gardens collection are truly mesmerizing. Armed with a subtle shimmer to enhance skin's natural glow, these powders are weightless and contain sweet orange extract and squalane for bonus skincare benefits.

Glowing Pink* ($64.00 CDN) is what I envision the classic highlighter shade to be and although it does not appear pink in the photo, it is truly a very subtle pink. The embossing is just GORGEOUS and did not disappear easily as I swirled my brush in the powder. The compact itself is just like the blushes from last year's Tie Dye collection (here) so VERY substantial.

Glowing Nude* ($64.00 CDN) was my favourite of the two possibly because I am ready to get my summer glow on! It is the perfect shade of bronze and as pigmented as it is, it blends beautifully for a glorious glow.

I will be using these in an upcoming look so you will get to see how they look on the face, but the powders are both buttery and pigmented. LOVE THEM.

Final verdict: I know these are pricey, but they are so beautiful in the case and on the skin! If you have skin tone similar to mine, I would go with Glowing Nude just because I tend to tan in the summer and I prefer being bronzed as opposed to highlighted. Both illuminating powders are true collector's pieces for any Dior and beauty lover and I know I am not the only one that has fallen in love with these.

The Glowing Gardens Collection will be available until the end of March at The Bay, Sephora and select Shoppers Drug Mart Boutiques.
