When I saw the Dior Polka Dots Colour & Dots Manicure Kits* ($38.00 CDN) in the Summer Milky Dots Collection, I thought, "Hallelujah!" I have always believed that polka dots dress up ANY manicure and it was one of the first nail art techniques I ever attempted. These new manicure kits come in three different nail colour duos containing the classiest-looking mini dotting tool I have ever seen! Today, I will show two of these kits which I have used to create today's spicy-lookin' dotticure!
The Pastilles Colour & Dot Manicure Kit* comes with a rich sea blue shade #795 and a nude #212. I started of by painting my nails three thin coats of #212 for my base and then dotting with #795 and the included dotting tool. The different sizes of dots were created by applying different amount of pressure to the nail. A bare whisper of a touch created the finer dots and the larger dots created by dipping the dotting tool fully into polish.
The Confettis Colour & Dot Manicure Kit* comes with a creamy coral shade #652 and a peachy #432 both of which were perfect for dotting and painting.
Though this dotticure wasn't the quickest, I really wanted to create a more intricate design to show the this kit is for both nail art newbies and those who are more seasoned (I sound like a baked chicken). After waiting for your dots to completely dry, top coat and enjoy!
