Though this collection is referred to as "chrome", I don't know if I really would as I don't see the colour change effect normally present in duochromes nor does it have a mirror like shine. I would actually refer to this collection as "glass-flecked" or even a semi-metallic finish. Regardless of semantics, whether I'm blinded by Louboutin love, I really loved wearing this shade. All photos are two coats with top coat with the first coat being a little patchy, but righting itself by the second.
The brush was short and thin which meant not having to wipe my brush as one dip had just enough polish for my nail. The stiletto handle was surprisingly comfortable to use and reminded me so much of the Julep Plie Wand. It really steadied my hand especially when I switched to my non-dominant let hand to paint!
I know that I could never rationalize price for a polish like this, but if you are a polish collector, having a Louboutin bottle in your collection is a MUST. I always take an extended look at my two bottles of Louboutins because they just look so sleek and cool in the drawer. I know, I know, I should be putting them on display, but I that stiletto is a bit dangerous and I HAVE poked myself before!
The permanent Christian Louboutin collection is available at Holt Renfrew.
