For awhile I had this obsession with foaming hand soap. It was all I was buying because there is something just so incredibly satisfying about pressing down on a solid pump and hearing that glorious foaminess greet your palms. So now that I have romanticized foaming hand soaps, let's get into foaming BODY WASH! I know it's pretty much the same thing just bigger, but that doesn't take the fun out of it does it? In fact, since the bottles are bigger it's even better!
When it comes to bath and body, Avon has something for literally everyone and though I do receive a number of bath products from Avon, the Skin So Soft Oil-Infused Foaming Body Washes immediately caught my eye when they arrived. I shook 'em, pumped 'em and then had to shower with 'em!
These come in four different scents and formulas - three of which I have here to share with you, but truth be told, they were all pretty similar in terms of results. Each formula has a slightly different set of oils that act to nourish and hydrate skin while having a luxurious foam that feels light on the body and is quite fun and enjoyable to use while in the shower.
I started off with the Original* formula with jojoba and sunflower seed oil because it seemed like a natural place to start. I wanted a baseline to refer back to and this ended up being my favourite mainly because the scent was so neutral. As much as I wanted light green foam, the foam was a very normal white. What I liked about all of these foaming body washes was not having to use a puff. Sometimes, I just feel really lazy and yes even a puff seems like work! With the foams, I just need 3 pumps for my whole body and I am covered!
The Supreme Nourishment* formula has the sweet scent of vanilla, which I loved, and is made with macadamia nut oil, sunflower seed oil, keratin and vitamin E. Oddly enough, my skin did not feel all that different from when I used the original formula considering this is supposed to be the most hydrating of the group.
The Radiant Moisture* formula was my second favourite because I liked the scent which was peony and just a hint of musk. This formula contains argan and sunflower seed oil and again, the hydration level was the same as the other two as I still needed body moisturizer afterwards.
Final verdict: They were all equally good at cleansing in a fun and foamy way. In terms of moisture, I really wouldn't recommend one over the other as they all felt the same on my skin, but in terms of scent the Original and Radiant Moisture foams were my favourite. I was just a big fan of having a body wash to pump and I honestly just find this fun to use when I'm in the shower.
