The H&M True Matte Finishing Powder in Warm Beige* ($12.99 CDN) was surprisingly soft, finely milled and instantly mattified my skin. I am now actually curious to see how H&M's foundation measures up.
I have recently become a bit of a blush fiend and when I saw this hexagonal-shaped packaging I was all over it! The H&M Pure Radiance Powder Blusher in Apricot* ($12.99 CDN) was also very soft and had a matte finish. It was quite pale on me and I really had to build up the colour so as much as I liked the formula, I would definitely go for a darker shade in the future.
The H&M Cream Lip Colour in Candy Apple* ($12.99 CDN) is an orange-red cream lippie that is oh so pretty! I was not expecting this to be quite so orange, but it actually turned out to be a gorgeous shade!
This look features a product that I ended up buying three of - the H&M Colour Essence Eye Creams ($7.99 CDN) which I loved so much that I will do a separate post for them! They are indeed very creamy in consistency and leaning more towards a slightly whipped in texture. They do not dry as quickly as other cream shadows so you do not have to rush to apply colour to the lids.
I kept this look as simple as possible since I knew I was going to have a mega bright lip which meant the eye makeup was very basic. Honestly, I am NOT a morning person so I don't like to think too hard when it comes to putting together a makeup look. This face right here, is pretty much my go-to!

Final verdict: You will definitely see more of H&M Beauty on Cosmetic Proof because I thought the quality was surprisingly good with the products I had. It certainly isn't the most inexpensive, but only slightly more if not equal to drugstore pricing. The packaging looks much more attractive though and I know I will be adding more to my current collection!
