NAILS | A Garden of Hearts #ManiMonday

I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day! I had the craziest day at work so I didn't get a chance to have these nails ready to go until today. I saw this pin a couple of weeks ago and thought it was such a cute design that I had to attempt to re-create it for Valentine's Day.

I used three coats of OPI - Let's Be Friends!*, a very pale pink, from the new Hello Kitty collection as my base colour and then dotted on red hearts with OPI - 5 Apples Tall*. I hate dotting on hearts because they never come out very evenly so I ended up going in with a fine nail art brush and reshaping them.

The stems and leaves were painted on using acrylic paint and the whole design sealed in with a nice, shiny top coat!

What did you do for Valentine's Day? My husband made me a steak with my favourite duck fat potatoes for dinner!
