Holidays at Sephora | Gift Sets from Boscia, Kat Von D and Atelier Cologne OH MY!

I'm not very good at holiday gift guides because I always want to talk about one thing at a time, but as much as I wanted to devote a single post to each one of these glorious gift sets, my work schedule is bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S. I am not disciplined enough to get up at 6am to blog and with hubby away in Montreal seeing his family, I have been having trouble sleeping. Someone told me to go and pick up a body pillow since I am missing the presence of a body in the bed. Cat sandwiches just don't cut it.

I thought these gift sets were pretty cute and made me really happy when I received them so I thought I would share the love!

Kat Von D Hello Canada Gift Set Review

The limited edition Kat Von D Hello Canada! Set* ($30.00 CDN) is only available to Canada and contains a trio of sample sizes of Kat's bestsellers which include a: mini Tattoo Liner in Trooper (this is pretty much my holy grail black liquid liner), mini Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Double Dare and mini Studded Kiss Lipstick in Lolita.

One of my favourite things about this kit though? THE BAG. This clutch is actually quite well made with a zipper that glides smoothly and a versatile look that can be dressed up or down. Not only did I love the samples, but to get a bag too is pretty cool. These are some of the more tame KVD shades, but if you are want to get that trendsetter friend or family member something cool, but aren't sure what colours to start with, pick up this gift set!

I discovered Atelier Cologne in a Glymm box from 2012 and immediately fell in love with the scent Orange Sanguine, the PERFECT orange. I don't know how they made orange smell so appealing in a non-food way, but they did! I have the full size of this scent and only in recent years have realized just how layerable all of the Atelier Cologne scents are.

Atelier Cologne Review Gift Set

The Atelier Cologne Necessaire* ($95.00 CDN) is a series of six scents curated by founders and husband and wife team, Sylvie Ganter and Christophe Cervasel. Each one of these scents is absolutely breath-taking. I always find the scents so different than everything else out there. They are more on the subtle side with each scent being discernibly different yet able to mix with others.

I should also add that when I bought a full-sized bottle of Orange Sanguine online, I did not receive a little metallic funnel to refill the bottle. I emailed and Atelier Cologne not only sent one, but added a whackload of other samples as well! Ever since then, I have been a fan of theirs!

Ohhhh, now THIS is a gift set for the skincare lover. I know because I am just that! This is the Boscia Japanese Favourites Kit* which is sold out online, but IS in stores! I just went to Sephora yesterday and saw this kit on the shelves! I just wish I remember how much it was...it wasn't more than $50 which is a crazy great deal considering the sizes of each of these products!

Inside is: the Thermal Black Cleanser (50mL), Exfoliating Peeling Gel (50mL), Tsubaki Glotion (30g) and Sake Bright White Mask (30g). I have tried the cleanser, peeling gel and glotion so far and I have to say that my favourite would have to be the peeling gel just because it's weird and kind of strange in how it works, but it DOES exfoliate!

I love the holidays, but I am also really excited for that January lull where we make plans and set goals for the coming year. I hope you guys are surviving the season and we will talk later!
