I don't often wear red polish on its own, but when I do, I make it count! A new-to-me-brand called Maxus Nails reached out to me recently and after having a look at what they were all about, I was excited to feature them here and of course wear their polishes! Created by Dasha Minina, Maxus polishes are 11-free with a formula that is built to strengthen nails. What this brand is very well-known for are its nail treatments, two of which I enjoyed using and will be talking about later, but for today let's just gaze at this beautiful juicy red creme of a polish!
Maxus currently has four shades of nail polish that are all part of the Empower Collection. My mood was calling for something sultry so I applied two coats of the creamy red shade Inspired* ($18.00 USD) and added a bit of flare with some studs I picked up from Julep.
As you can see, the formula for Inspired is stunning and with the Maxus Top Coat, the shine was insane! My only critique was that the polish brush was a bit rounded and I prefer a flatter polish brush for more accurate painting around the cuticle.
