VALENTINE'S | Lush Valentine's Day Collection

It's that time of year again where you can't go out for dinner on Valentine's Day because all the restaurants are packed so if you are an old married couple like myself and KC, I will be making dinner at home and HE will be getting me jewelry LOL! I think after awhile you just want to spend time at home relaxing with people you love. I don't even know how to segue into the bath concoctions Lush has released this year because this year's collection is a little racy! All I can say is Lush, you make a girthy eggplant!

As always there are a whackload of fun and new products for the Valentine's season and though I love the oldies, I only like featuring the new ones since you can always refer to my previous Lush Valentine's posts. Starting with the aforementioned Eggplant Bath Bomb*, this is an ode to our love of emoticons and what the eggplant has come to mean in the 21st century. Nevertheless, I just used this bath bomb tonight and the way this fizzer works is by swirling shades of blue, green and purple until finally settling your bathwater down to a deep shade of purple with hints of glitter. The scent is a relaxing one with bergamot, ho wood oil and fresh aubergine.

Like Eggplant, the Peachy Bath Bomb* is an emoticon often used in conjunction with the eggplant emoticon and is an easy bath bomb to love. Containing fresh peach juice and grapefruit oil, this butt of a bath bomb leaves your bathwater swirling in shades of yellow and pink. KC was the one who got to take a bath with this one and liked it because there wasn't any glitter to get stuck in his leg hair. Ah, boys.

And finally, this one took me a little while to figure out, the Open Your Heart Bubble Bra* is a citrus-scented tribute to Madonna's "Open Your Heart to Me" and her conical brassier. This is a bubble bath fragranced with sandalwood, cardamom and one of my favourite scents, Brazilian orange oil. I haven't used this one yet, but I feel like it's going to be glittery because of the gold so I will be ready to scrub my tub!

Strawberry Whip* smells like a creamy strawberry dessert and is a fairly large bar of soap. It contains coconut oil, cocoa butter and fresh strawberries that make this quite hydrating and enjoyable to use. When it came to using the Avocado Wash Shower Gel*, I wasn't sure WHAT I would be smelling since avocados are more about texture and taste than scent. Turns out, I liked the scent of this MORE than Strawberry Whip! It is a little citrusy, but it reminds me a lot of freshly baked zucchini bread! The bright green creamy colour also adds to my love of this shower gel!
