I have worn a matte lip almost every day for the last 2.5 months and almost every day it has been one of the Pixi MatteLast Liquid Lipsticks! Granted I have stuck to the more neutral shades, even getting to the half empty point on one of them, but these have truly become one of my favourite lip products for both their comfort level and performance!

Infused with rosehip oil, these MatteLast lipsticks are intended to be universally flattering shades for all skintones and feel comfortable to wear while delivering an opaque shade of colour to the lips in one swipe. The PixiPetal-shaped doe-foot applicator is slightly curved to hug the contours of the lips and actually does help quite a bit with a more precise application especially when it comes to the more dramatic shades. You truly feel like you have control which is important for my very pointy cupid's bow! You have no idea how often I have screwed that up with wands that were just too clunky!
All shades shown below are one swipe with the exception of "Berry Boost" which seems to be a tough shade to do opaquely for most brands. I'm not a cosmetic chemist, but I'm sure the pigment that creates vampy, berry shades must be a challenge to do in one swipe. While it was a bit watery, it did still impart quite a bit of colour. All the other shades were really just AWESOME.
In terms of comfort, these weren't quite as supple as the SUVA Moisture Matte Lipsticks BUT, they didn't budge on colour as easily so this is a trade-off I can handle.
I don't have lip swatches of every colour because my lips freak out whenever I do even three or four of them in a row, so even the ones I have below I had to do all on different days, BUT they are my four favourite shades I wear the most to work and events.

Final verdict: I literally just wore Evening Rose to an event today so I cannot get enough of these! The colour barely budges all day and if I know I'm going to be spending all day out or eating, I opt for these lipsticks. I had a girls night dinner after work last month and my friend asked if I had gone home first to freshen up because my lipstick looked flawless! Then I had to tell her what I was wearing (obviously!) and she was so surprised because she didn't think of Pixi as being a "real" makeup brand. Between the blushes and now the liquid lipsticks, I am so happy about diving into the makeup side of Pixi because if you like a matte lip (I know not everyone does), give these guys a try!
