SHEET MASK | Sephora Collection Vitamin Masks

Whenever I see a new sheet mask from the Sephora Collection, I HAVE to try it no matter what. In the past, there have been some serious duds, but also some notable positives and while I wouldn't put the Sephora masks at the top of my list, they perform solidly in my top 20 favourite sheet masks as they smell pleasant, have decent results and some of the most attractive packaging! During the VIB Rouge sale, I went wild with my skincare and haircare and spotted a new trio of masks with a focus on some skin-loving vitamins and knew I would need to add these to my #100DaysofSheetMasks challenge!

Purchased by me

All three mask sheets are made from banana fiber tissue with 95% of the essence ingredients coming from natural origin. They are also those "quickie wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am" kind of sheet masks with the instructions saying that 5 minutes is all you need for these masks to do their job, but I am a firm believer in taking your time with masks so I left these on for my usual 20 minutes with no premature drying issues.

Mango Vitamin Mask
Sephora Collection Vitamin Masks Review

The Mango Vitamin Mask focuses on nourishing the skin using mango and watermelon fruit extract and of course vitamin B6. This vitamin is derived from the addition of synthetic salt from vitamin B6 (pyridoxine HCl) and is thought to have antioxidant properties when applied topically to the skin.

Sephora Collection Vitamin Masks Review

Mask Summary (Mango):

Price: Sold in a pack of 3 for $14

Skin concerns: Dryness

Scent: Sweet and slightly like banana

Essence Type: Clear, a bit foamy

Duration: Packaging says 5 minutes, but I left on for 20 minutes

Thickness: Thin

Mask Fit: Just ok as I found the mask a bit wide for my face and didn't sit flat around my eyes

Tackiness: None!

Hydration: It has been dry in Vancouver so I needed to add a moisturizer afterwards.

Other notes: The mask fabric while thin, is hard to unfold if it folds back on itself and doesn't have the same "bounce" as other Asian sheet masks that are of this thinness or thinner!

Aloe Vera Vitamin Mask
Sephora Collection Vitamin Masks Review

The Aloe Vera Vitamin Mask focuses on hydration and features vitamin E, aloe vera juice, sake and hyaluronic acid that tones, moisturizes and quenches thirsty skin.

Papaya Vitamin Mask

Sephora Collection Vitamin Masks Review

The Papaya Vitamin Mask was the one I was most looking forward to as a fan of Vitamin C and getting glow in general! This mask contains both ascorbyl glucoside and vitamin C and a dose of hyaluronic acid for hydration. This mask was my favourite as I saw a glow to my skin immediately!

Sephora Collection Vitamin Masks

Final verdict: I hope Sephora sells these masks separately AND adds more vitamins to the mix becauses the packaging is fun and the overall results of each mask not bad at all! The papaya one impressed me to the point where I think I might repurchase the trio again, but it's always sold out now online! Definitely give these a try if you see them back in stock because even though the mask fit was not perfect, it was not a dealbreaker for me and any sheet mask lover would enjoy them!
