You have no idea how long I have been wanting to wear this polish! I have left it out purposefully for I want to say a year because I just knew it would be a gorgeous colour. The Shu Uemura x YazBukey collaboration came out in 2015 so I have had this polish a long time without ever trying it, but the formula was perfect and I actually thought this would lean more on the magenta side as I wanted to do this year's Pantone Colour of the Year - Viva Magenta, but when I looked at the name of the polish "Daring Burgundy", I realized it would be much darker than I thought!

The CBBxManiMonday theme for the month of January is open-ended, but I will be focusing on Viva Magenta as it is one of my favourite colours as well as LunarJanuary since LNY is on January 22nd so expect to see some rabbits too as it is the Year of the Rabbit! For anyone new here, I started doing LunarJanuary/Lunar February (depending on when LNY fell) a few years ago as an alternative to Valentine's Day posts. For the entire month, I focus on Asian brands/themes and it also gives me a chance to go through much of my Kbeauty skincare products.
The reverse glitter gradient is a really fast and easy one to do that looks great at the same time and after applying two coats of "Daring Burgundy", I applied the Sephora by OPI Gold Glitter Top Coat (discontinued) in small amount so that there wasn't too much liquid at the base of my nail. While this polish does not exist anymore, as long you choose a multi-shape and size glitter, you will be able to achieve this look!
