Firstly, Happy Lunar Year and Year of the Rabbit! Next, you have my word that this is a sheet mask that not discontinued as I seem to keep talking about sheet masks that you can no longer find! I find it so strange that sheet masks are not like regular skincare products that hang around for awhile. Some sheet masks I have reviewed are gone within the year and I have no idea why! The SNP Peptaronic Ampoule Mask is a fairly new one as I believe the SNP Prep series only launched last year, so maybe it won't get discontinued until next year ;-)
The SNP Prep collection takes it "back to skincare basics" with results-based ingredients at an affordable price point. Ingredients include peptides, cica, hyaluronic acid and skin-loving vitamins. There is also a change in the packaging as it looks much more modern than the previous SNP masks I have showcased in terms of font style and design.
Overall, the mask fit was decent, but did have quite a bit of extra "skin" hanging off the side as you can see in the photo which was a bit surprising since I generally don't have fit issues with SNP masks. You can always trim off the excess if you don't want wet mask in your hair but I generally don't mind.
Mask Summary:
Price: $19.99 USD/Box of 10, but I think I got mine on sale at T&T for around $15 for the box
Skin concerns: Hydration, strengthening the skin barrier
Scent: Floral, but I don't notice it once the mask is on my face
Essence Type: Thick, clear gel
Duration: 20 minutes
Thickness: Thin
Mask Fit: Pretty good, but for my face shape there was a lot of excess mask material sticking out into my hair
Tackiness: None
Hydration: Good and skin has a nice texture!
Other notes: N/A
Final verdict: Yet another great mask from SNP! There are a few more masks in this Prep series so I am curious to see how they compare, but so far so good!
You can find the SNP Peptaronic Ampoule Mask at various Asian retailers like T&T in Canada!
