SHEET MASK | Lassie'el Real Vitamin E and C Powder Masks

Lassie'el Real Vitamin E and C Powder Masks

Purchased by me

I was going through my stash a few months ago as I had a couple (who am I kidding, it was a bajillion!) of masks I had set aside from my old FaceTory subscription that I wanted to review. They always sourced such interesting sheet masks and the two I found were from Korean brand Lassie'el which seemed intriguing with their white powders...

What makes this mask special? Starting at the top of the mask, there is a moisturizing ampoule that you fold unto the vitamin E powder which both roll into the actual mask! The idea being that the actives in the powder only get activated once exposed to water. We have seen this a lot with masks and vitamin C products and there is truth to this as ingredients stay fresher longer in the absence of water. Vitamin E is known for its moisturizing and skin barrier improving qualities!

I often have a hard time with these types of "rolling" masks, but both masks popped into the other sections very easily without much pressing from me. Just make sure to mix well and the mask should be well-soaked. There is already essence in the mask portion so all you have to do make sure the powder is mixed with the ampoule.

The mask material was on the thicker side, but I didn't mind as it felt cozy and snug on my face as there was enough essence to aid in skin adherence.

What makes this mask special? Same as the above when it comes to the mechanism of the mask, but this time we have actual vitamin C powder which brightens, revitalizes and improves skin tone. I have a few powdered ascorbic acid products and enjoy them from time to time. Powders are great for their long-lasting ability, but sometimes they can get annoying to mix into things. Note that I did not include photos of me wearing the Vitamin C mask as the mask material and shape is identical to the Vitamin E one.

Final verdict: One of the better sheet masks I have used with the fold and pop mechanism of ensuring the freshness of the actives. Both masks had slightly different results and I enjoyed them both! The powder dissolved well and it was really easy to make sure everything was mixed. The mask fit well and my skin looked great after using both masks so I would definitely use these again if I can find them!

I think you can find them now at random Korean e-tailers as FaceTory no longer does third party brands.
