For someone who loves skincare, there are actually just a handful of brands that I use and feature consistently and one of them is Toronto-based MaskerAide. I have been a customer of theirs ever since receiving my very first sheet mask from them to try in my Topbox subscription back in 2013 so I guess this is our 10 year anniversary! There are some new products from MaskerAide that I purchased on my own during Black Friday and when I received my order, the team included doubles for me which was so nice! I have been enjoying this little routine whether all together or just one or two products at a time and thought "why not share it with you all?!"

 

Nourishing Milky Essence*

This is a new product and it is a lavender-scented essence with milk-protein and lavender oil to soothe skin and replenish and lock in moisture. I know some skin types are sensitive to lavender, but I have always loved the scent and have had no issues with this ingredient in the past. What I enjoy about this essence is that because it is on the more viscous side when it comes to texture, there is a slight hydrating as well as plumping aspect that I notice in my skin right after application. As I get older, I want all the plumping I can get!

The packaging is cute as always with all MaskerAide products and I have always found the artwork so inspiring for nail art! 

Tinted Lip Mask*

This hint of tint lip mask contains blueberry extract to hydrate and nourish the lips as well as healing chapped lips. While this product is called a lip mask, it's really got the same consistency as a non-tacky lip balm so you can definitely use this during the day. The Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask is far more intense when it comes to thickness. The tint is quite natural and sheers out easily. 

Beauty Rest'ore Nourishing Sheet Mask

This is a cream-based mask I have reviewed in the past (here) and is one of the more hydrating masks out of MaskerAide's collection. It is one of my favourites as I love the scent (lavender oil) and how soft and supple my skin feels afterwards without an ounce of tackiness! I have purchased and used this mask somewhere in the double digits so it's safe to say that it's a favourite of mine!

Final verdict: I will most certainly continue to use MaskerAide products as I enjoy them quite a bit and while they seem to be targeted for a younger demographic, I like the affordability of the products and of course the fact that they make some of my most favourite sheet masks on the planet!
