I am the worst. I am about to talk about something that you cannot purchase anymore because I was too busy trying to squeeze in some Halloween looks for you all! I know that the Lise Watier EYEvolution collection has been featured a few times throughout the blogosphere months ago, but I only got to play with this collection in September and though that sounds like plenty of time, those of you who have day jobs, kids and such will know how time can just slip away! Nevertheless, Lise Watier always wows me when it comes to their lip and eye products, so today it is all about the limited edition EYEvolution Eyeshadow Quartet* ($37 CDN) in all its beauty!
The EYEvolution Collection is a collection intended for the modern woman and her high standards of colour and impact. The palette can feel a bit daunting at first as the shades lean more to the smoky, dramatic side. This ain't no Rivages palette (review)!
In addition to the eyeshadow palette, there is one other limited edition product, but only in terms of packaging and it is the Dramatique Intense 3D Volume Mascara* ($24 CDN), with its teardrop-shaped brush guaranteed to give maximum volume and length. Thankfully, there are some brand new permanent products such as the Extreme Hold CC Eye Primer* ($27 CDN), new shades of Waterproof Eyeliner ($22 CDN) and Ombre Velours Supreme ($25 CDN).
The eyeshadows were so buttery, soft and had wonderful pigmentation. Even the matte pink shade applied beautifully. Absolutely no complaints here! I received the shade Taupe Velours* in the Ombre Velours Supreme cream shadow and though you would expect the shadow to be firm on contact, it is actually super spreadable. I found this applied most easily with fingertips.

Apply the shimmery purple/brown shade to inner half of the eyelid.
Apply the shimmery grey shade to other half of lid and blend into crease with fluffy brush. Bring grey down onto the lower lashline and line with smudger brush.
Define inner corners with shimmery gold shade and draw a "C" shape with a small brush.
Line lower waterline with Lise Watier Waterproof Eyeliner in Anthracite*.
Apply Lise Watier Feline Eyeliner HD in Noir.
Cheeks:

Final verdict: I have been getting into more smoky looks for Fall and for $37 for what amounts to full-sized shadows that feel and apply like a dream, I'd say I hope you all got the chance to have a look, swatch, purchase this palette! If you aren't a smoky eye gal, the top two shades are more everyday, but I think this is definitely for those that love going smoky during the work day.
