SKINCARE | The Face Shop Simpsons Marge Character Sheet Mask

I have another fun sheet mask for you all today and I cannot tell you how thoroughly amusing I found The Face Shop Marge Character Sheet Mask! The Face Shop x Simpsons collaboration is a limited edition one and from what I have seen in my local Face Shops, stock is dwindling, but there are a number of KBeauty etailers that still carry most of the collection so fear not! Out of what was released in Canada, I was obviously most interested in the character sheet masks and though they come in Marge, Homer and Lisa, I was too late for the Lisa mask.

There are apparently different mask sizes with Marge being a medium and Homer being "one size fits all". I will get back to you on Homer as I have not tried it yet.

The Marge Character Mask is a brightening mask with pomegranate-infused essence that actually smelled quite pleasant! It also contains niacinamide and beta-glucan - both of which brighten the skin and create better skin tone.

The "Mask Down"

The first thing I noticed was that the essence was quite watery. I actually had to let the mask "drip dry". I found the sheet mask a bit stiff perhaps because of the character print, which I should mention DID have fun little Marge eyes that I had to punch out. The mask had a hard time staying fully flat or close to the skin and the chin kept popping off which is a huge pet peeve of mine!

Final verdict: I left this mask on for 20 minutes and after rubbing in the residual essence found it to be semi-tacky, but with an overall smooth texture on the skin. This was a fun mask, but just based on the fit alone I would not repurchase.

The Face Shop x Simpsons collaboration is still available online and there are a few things left in certain retail stores.
