Just when I thought I was set with the lip balms I needed in life, Laneige just HAD to come out with a sister to their insanely good Lip Sleeping Mask - the new Lip Glowy Balms! Think of these as the daytime version of what we have all come to realize is one of the best, most delicious lip masks on the beauty market!

Infused with murumuru and shea butters, this lip balm is a thick one, but INCREDIBLY smooth and comfortable to wear anytime of the day. I get itchy, flaky lips from time to time when I get stressed out and last week after a stressful couple of weeks, the itchy lips came back where I could only handle lip balm and most certainly not my matte liquid lipsticks! Vaseline is usually the only thing I can use when my lips are that uncomfortable, but I decided to try these Lip Glowy Balms in my time of need and they turned out to be the perfect thing!
Just like the Lip Sleeping Masks, these lip balms have the yummiest scents coming in four flavours: Berry*, Peach*, Grapefruit*and Pear*, and yes they really do smell like candy versions of fruit! With this clean beauty movement, I feel somewhat guilty liking artificial fragrance so much, but I cannot help myself with these guys! Sometimes I will even do one flavour on the top lip and another on the bottom for a lip balm fruit salad! While I wouldn't call the ingredients "clean" or "good for you", this is a product I enjoy for the sheer fun of colour, scent, texture down to the squishy applicator. This is when I know I couldn't be a green beauty blogger because I would miss fun products like these so much!

In terms of tint, they each have very light tinges of colour, but I feel like they all end up looking like the same shade of pink on me which is just fine as I don't look to these lip balms for colour. If anything, these are something I would pop on AFTER I have a creme or matte lipstick.
Final Verdict: Loving and living for these right now and though lip balms are nothing new, I find the formula on these soothing like Vaseline, but a little bit more smooth on the lips. They have really been helping my lips feel less irritated and though I have tried medicated lip balms when my lips flare up, I prefer something thicker that seals in moisture and amazingly stops the itching too. These Lip Glowy Balms have been multi-purpose for me and have also been great overnight, but I guess that's what its sibling the Lip Sleeping Mask is for!
