SHEET MASK | Repiel Perfect Fit Advanced Biocellulose Masks

I have more sheet masks for you HA! Hey, it has been a whole three weeks since I last chatted about sheet masks and such that I am sure you are all DYING to see what I have been up to! I have been doing a personal masking challenge #MarchMaskness which I think might be fun to do every year! I miss masking when I don't do it for a day or two and I find my skin has just taken to daily masking like a moth to a flame, but I am careful to balance out the type of masks that I do back to back so when I wanted to review the Repiel Perfect Fit Biocellulose Masks*, I planned my schedule accordingly as biocellulose masks are known to be INTENSELY hydrating!

The Perfect Fit series of biocellulose masks was actually quite similar to that of the Timeless Line Bio Masks (review) in terms of fit. Both collections involve the use of coconut fermentation to create the masks, but while the goals of Timeless Line are for anti-aging concerns, the Perfect Fit series is meant for everyday use with more general skin concerns for all ages. Though I have taken individual photos for each of the masks, I found them all to be identical in fit and there honestly wasn't too much of a difference in terms of results afterwards.

Though the ingredients for each mask had fairly similar bases, there were always one or two ingredients that differed based on the target skin concern. In the case of the Moisturizing Mask, there was mushroom extract (found just before the halfway point of the ingredients list) as this is the hot new skincare ingredient that is natural alternative to sodium hyaluronate and is able to hold up to 500x its weight in moisture! My skin was quite hydrated with all five of the Perfect Fit masks so this one did not have a noticeable increase in moisture for me than the others.

The featured ingredient for the Firming Mask was hydrolyzed collagen (just before halfway point of ingredients list) which we are all familiar with when it comes to anything that is classified as a true anti-aging ingredient. Again, my skin was so hydrated that yes it was definitely more firm, but not noticeably moreso than when using the other masks.

The Soothing Mask contains calming ingredients like arnica montana flower, chamomile extract, calendula (all just before the halfway point of the ingredients list) and with this one, I will say that the redness in my cheeks from broken capillaries did look more subdued so the combination of the coolness from the mask (I store all of my masks in my skincare fridge now) plus the anti-inflammatory ingredients must have worked!

The Lightening Mask was the only mask that made a noticeable difference to my skin immediately upon removal. This contains our favourite brightening ingredient niacinamide and I looked more perky after using the mask so I would definitely call this mask a win.

Mask Summary:

Scent: Fresh, slightly floral scent. Very mild.
Duration: 15-20 minutes
Thickness: VERY thin
Mask Fit: Good fit except the "moustache" part was a bit too mobile and kept sliding into my mouth. Mouth area was a bit too small which may be the cause.
Tackiness: Mild
Hydration: Very good
