I realize that I have featured a number of blue manicure this month which just goes to show how much I love blue, BUT today's blue manicure is in celebration of the Pantone colour of the year for 2020 - Classic Blue! Whether it's polish, eyeshadow or pen colour, I have always loved blue and though it's not exactly a casual colour to wear, I love wearing it on my nails because it's like I can still have a party on my nails and look professional everywhere else!

I am wearing a new-to-me South African nail polish brand today called Bio Sculpture and though they are more well-known for their long-wearing and natural looking gel polishes, they also have a regular nail polish line that promises long-lasting, vibrant and glossy colour that also dries quickly. I was sent a couple of blue shades to test out so today I am starting with this bright creme blue shade in Havana Nights*! While the first coat looked a bit watery, the second coat changed EVERYTHING and I got a beautiful glossy, opaque finish even without a top coat!
Since this is a NYE manicure, we need to add some glitter so I had to use the gold glitter from Glitter All the Way* from the new OPI x Hello Kitty Holiday Collection to create this reverse glitter gradient! I made sure to use a thicker top coat like the new CND Vinylux Gel Top Coat to make sure I had a smooth finish with the glitter.
