SHEET MASK | Oscar Mayer Bologna Hydrogel Sheet Face Mask

I was tagged in a tweet by Jill from Beauty Vixen for the debut of the Oscar Mayer Face Mask back in January and initially thought it was a prank product because why would a brand specializing in "instant meat" decide to make something so completely unrelated?! I still don't have an answer to that, but I DO have a mask that looks like meat. On my face.

Hydrogel was the PERFECT consistency for this mask as I feel like we have seen movie instances of people putting bologna on their faces like a "skin mask" so the choice to do this was so on point! Hydrogel is generally very soothing, hydrating and also contain witch hazel, seaweed and hydrolyzed collagen for bonus moisture.

I'm not going to lie that as I have been writing this, all I have been humming in my head is "Oh, I wish I were an Oscar Meyer wiener..."

Packaging is very cute and I love that it still looks a bit like food with the red and yellow colouring so I can see why the packaging stresses NOT to eat what's inside!

Mask Fit: Not bad, but could have been a bit thicker in the moustache area and more slits in chin.

Hydration: Light to medium. I needed moisturizer afterwards.

Final verdict: I was secretly hoping that this mask would smell like meat, but I guess it's a good thing that it did not! It was fun to wear and I definitely had a good laugh over it! This is obviously a sheet mask for entertainment purposes so I wasn't expecting much in terms of moisture, but it was perfectly decent as a hydrogel mask and with some light moisturizer afterwards, my skin looked great! It was a bit expensive with the import fees, but for a sheet mask lover, this was well worth the purchase!
