SHEET MASK | Sephora Collection Matcha Tea Face Mask

The Sephora Collection Face Masks have not been a stranger to Cosmetic Proof over the years and though I initially wasn't completely sold on them, they have become solid staples in my sheet mask collection and as new "flavours" get introduced, I just HAVE to try them all one by one! As I have been focusing on green coloured/packaged sheet masks this month, it only made sense to try the mattifying and clarifying Matcha Tea Face Mask!

Made out of eucalyptus-derived fibres, the Sephora Collection sheet masks contain 95% ingredients of natural origin and though the sheet itself is a bit stiffer than most Korean sheet mask materials, it does generally fit the face quite well.

This mask claims to work in just 5 minutes, but obviously I tend to leave this mask on for much longer as I like to do other things while the sheet masks do their thing. There is hyaluronic acid, green tea extract and Cyperus rotundus root extract (skin conditioner and anti-inflammatory) which are at the tail end of the ingredients list. There is actually a higher concentration of parfum than there is of all of three of these ingredients so the benefits are probably not as great as we are led to believe, but I still consider these Sephora masks to be on the "fun side" so I am not surprised by this.

Final verdict: This wasn't the most hydrating mask for me so will probably not get this one again, but the others in the Sephora Collection have been more appropriate to my skin type like Pomegranate and Pineapple.
